In the report of Deloitte, the Football Money League, we can highlight that the number of English teams are even 8, establishing a record that is difficult to achieve in the short term; followed by Serie A with 4 teams thanks to the new entry of SSC Napoli which confirms the growing trend for the Italian championship.
La Liga and the Bundesliga mark their presence with 3 teams each, surely La Liga can count the top 2 best teams in the world, while the Bundesliga is much more diversified in the positions of this ranking.
In last place is Ligue 1 where apart from PSG always present among the top places, this year we note the presence of Lyon.
The total revenue is made up of three parts, the first being the Matchday would be the revenue that comes from the sale of tickets in the various competitions where the team participates, we can see that it is currently the lowest item of revenue for all the teams examined, let’s talk by 16% of the total if we consider the aggregate total; then we have the part relating to the Broadcast, i.e. all the revenues from the sale of television rights to the various platforms, we are talking about 44% of the total, certainly the most important and interesting item for everyone and where a war is being waged between the various championships Europeans to be the best and most attractive ones for global sales.
The third part relating to marketing we are talking about 40% of the total, that is merchandising, advertising, marketing which are necessary and essential sources for constant and planned growth in the near future, especially by adopting means of communication such as social media to increase its notoriety.
Below is a table in percentage of these 3 components that make up the total revenue:

Analyzing some interesting details we can see that the teams that emerge strongly on the point of commercialization are PSG and Bayern Munich, respectively with 57% and 54%. The situation of Tottenham is surprisingly negative with only 29%, which is not up to the situation of the London club in 8 place in the table.
For the Matchday part, the first position is occupied by Arsenal with 25%, certainly very important as an indicator, especially because they have a totally new “Emirates” stadium where they have invested a lot, followed by the top 2 in the class, that is Barcelona and Real Madrid, to which we are used on an equal footing with a new entry like Lyon which is positioned in 17th position.
In the part relating to the Broadcast, it is noted that the 2 teams that depend most on this type of income are the last 2 in the ranking, that is Everton and Napoli with 71% and 70%. Those who have a low percentage, therefore little dependence on this input source, are PSG with a paltry 25%.
