For the second year in a row, also in the 2020/21 season, Gewiss will be Official Naming Sponsor of the Bergamo Stadium and Back Partner of Atalanta B.C. ready to give new emotions to all Bergamo fans.
After Juventus’ Allianz Stadium, Udinese’s Dacia Arena, and Sassuolo’s Mapei Stadium, the 4th stadium in Italy is added to be totally renovated and to use naming rights. Another sporting season has begun and the partnership between Gewiss and Atalanta continues under the banner of ambitious goals and strong enthusiasm. Recently, it was also fed by UEFA, who declared the Gewiss Stadium suitable for hosting the home games of the “DEA” in the 2020/2021 Champions League. The most important football competition on a continental level has already seen the Nerazzurri squad among the great protagonists of the last edition when they almost reached the semi-final.
In the meantime, the renovation works of the Gewiss Stadium are continuing, where some Gewiss lighting solutions have already been installed (Smart projectors, Smart ceiling lights, and other LED devices for a total of 31 fixtures) and for the management and distribution of energy (including cabled panels and cabinets, sockets, switches, and switchboards), as well as plates and inserts from the Chorus domestic range. In addition to giving the name to the stadium, a symbolic place of aggregation and belonging for all the inhabitants of Bergamo, Gewiss will also be present on the official uniforms of the Nerazzurri champions, in the lower part, as official Back Partner.
Born as something more than a simple sponsorship, the agreement between Gewiss and Atalanta represents today more than ever an important link between the two clubs and the city to which they belong. A project is also designed to equip Bergamo and its inhabitants with a modern, innovative, and avant-garde sports stage, where you can express your attachment to the Nerazzurri team, experiencing and breathing the wonderful emotions that only football and sport can give. The agreement with Atalanta also concretizes Gewiss’s desire to support sport and the millions of athletes, young and old, who dedicate their energy and passion to sport every day. The same path has already been started with the Digital Sports Innovation project, which aims at the renewal of the Italian sports movement starting from the structures dedicated to it.
