Bayern Munich step forward in personnel management. The SAP company – a European multinational company for the production of management software – has announced that the Bavarian club has successfully implemented the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solution to standardize and optimize the main processes for human resources management (HR) and improve the experience of its more than 1,000 employees. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is a cloud-based human resources information system equipped with all the fundamental HR functions that organizations use to manage their entire workforce.
With the implementation of this system, Bayern moved from spreadsheets and manual processes to a fully integrated platform. This allows for consistent and digital HR processes and in the future will allow for the unification of hiring, onboarding and performance management data. In addition, reports can now be generated in a simple and efficient way to optimize planning and analysis of the entire organization.
“The SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solution allows FC Bayern’s human resources team to focus on more strategic and value-added HR initiatives rather than transactional processes,” said Jan-Christian Dreesen, FC Bayern Executive Vice Chairman. “Before implementing this solution, we worked with legacy and time-consuming processes. The integration has allowed us not only to digitize our processes but also to innovate and redesign them. Thanks to a more efficient environment, our human resources team can focus on providing the best possible employee experience” he added.
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central includes self-service options to increase FC Bayern employee engagement. The SAP SuccessFactors Mobile app offers all employees, including players, coaches, managers and employees, a modern and intuitive mobile experience – everyone can access their personal data and update their profiles, as well as enter, approve and record absences – for example holidays – all activities for which they previously had to contact human resources for approval.
