There is a big Dilemma in Italy before starting next football season related to 2022/2023. From next season we will have very strong teams that will participate in the new Second Division of Italy called Serie B but many people and many journalists and sports media believe that probably is more correct to define this championship as Serie A2 because there are half of the teams in term of percentage we calculated in 50% that could win in the first position and go in Serie A, these teams are:
- Palermo
- Bari
- Modena
- Genoa CFC
- Cagliari
- Venezia
- Benevento
- Pisa
- Parma
- Brescia
- Frosinone
After these teams, we have to consider that probably we could have a surprise from the other Clubs like Perugia, Ascoli, Como, Reggina, and Spal that have all the necessary to play a wonderful football season because have many years of experience in this second division.
If you consider that only 3 teams will have to access the Serie A because the first two teams will go directly and the third team after a play-off game that involved 6 teams from 3° position in the final ranking to 8 positions always in the final ranking. So means that will be very competitive this championship like never in the past.
Personally, I think that will be of great interest for the new Serie B that will be considered in stranger markets because we have many important cities with a famous stadium that will return with great pleasure of all fans of this sport and Strong Clubs/Society (with investments and planning organized) involved in this process of gaming.
I hope that every international fan that follows Italian football will enjoy this situation in this second league because this competitiveness probably will never back in the future
